I stand upon the mountain top
cold wind howling like wolves,
yet I stay.
I stand upon the mountain top,
As wild things stare from the brush.
Eyes glowing in the moonlit night.
Yet I remain.
I stand upon the mountain top,
staring at that town below.
I fear not the chaos of nature,
for all understand it.
I fear the order of man,
for its meaning is rarely sane.
cold wind howling like wolves,
yet I stay.
I stand upon the mountain top,
As wild things stare from the brush.
Eyes glowing in the moonlit night.
Yet I remain.
I stand upon the mountain top,
staring at that town below.
I fear not the chaos of nature,
for all understand it.
I fear the order of man,
for its meaning is rarely sane.
